Toni Kief

Toni Kief wrote a story for our September 2018 New Beginnings issue titled: Hotel for Single Ladies. Toni’s character is a woman who could either be despised or admired. When you read it, you’ll see what we mean!

Here is Toni’s bio.

Toni Kief, from a small Midwestern town and a family of high spirits and laughter.  Presently in the Pacific Northwest, she plans to stay for the view, trees and friends. Her life story includes years in Insurance investigations. A longtime civil rights activist, she shares stories about lunches with politicians, leaders, and artists.  Toni didn’t start writing until she was sixty years old, and joined writer’s group that specialized in flash fiction. She continues to gather stories prime for embellishment in unlikely situations. Toni is a published author of three novels, and founding director of The Writers Cooperative of the Pacific Northwest.
