Julia Kaylock

“But my soul is singing gently
And vibrating through my being,
Pulsating light and warming me –
It’s amazing the things I’m seeing.”

Julia Kaylock wrote a poem for our September 2018 New Beginnings issue titled: PTSD – A Saga, Not a Sentence. It’s an honest look at life from a point of view of remission…and being grateful to what life has in store for the future.

Here is Julie’s bio.

Julia Kaylock is a published author of career texts, and is also a newspaper columnist and poet. Living by the sea in Victoria, Australia, she is currently writing a contemporary novel set in Ireland, her memoir and a book of poetry, photographs and illustrations.

  1. I thoroughly love this amazing author!! I can’t remember where or when I stumbled upon her, but she so often writes poems that I totally “get” which is unusual for me. I’m not really a poem person. I think I would be if poetry was more like hers in general 🙂

  2. Yours is the piece I am *most* looking forward to reading. It’s that moment where you wonder if another soul can see inside of yours, and if you’re not so alone after all. I’m excited. Thanks for writing!
